HAPPINESS!

Today we will have a discussion on the topic of happiness. We are going to invent a story, describe people and events, use adjectives of character, watch a short film and express and debate our opinions.




PART ONE:

Look at the man in this picture :

  

Speculate on his life story.

What kind of personality do you think he has?

What kind of work do you think he has done in life?

How does he spend his time now?

PART TWO:

This name is Johnny Barnes,  he is from the island of Bermuda, where he is very well known, everybody there calls him Mr Happy Man.

Why do you think Johnny is so happy?
What do you think you will see in this film?
What do you think people will say about him?
What do you think he will say is the secret of happiness?



PART THREE:

Lets watch the short film, Mr Happy Man.

Lets discuss what you saw in the film, now compare your answers to what you saw in the short film.



PART FOUR:
 
 "The secret to happiness is..."

Complete this sentence with what you believe is the secret to happiness.
